BAG'd Atlanta is a small, family owned business that started offering home deliveries of fresh fruits and vegetables in 2016. Please check out our add -on pages for incredible local goods like Milk, Eggs, Cheeses, Bread, Sauces and more in addition to staples like grains, pasta, and other everyday items. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND CONTACTLESS DELIVERY:
Due to the current public health situation, here at BAG'd we are taking all safety precautions possible to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. We are currently not offering a pick up option, we are only offering contactless deliveries direct to your door. Our employees are wearing personal protective masks at all times, and we are practicing social distancing in the office and warehouse in addition to practicing regular hand washing and sanitizing between tasks. On delivery, our drivers will drop your order at your front door and ring your doorbell or knock and will send a text alert or call to let you know it has been delivered if not confirmed by someone at the delivery location.
WHAT'S IN THE BAG?
Each of our bags includes a week's supply of fresh fruits and vegetables that will feed a family of 2-3. Each bag is designed to be functional so that you can use the ingredients together in a meal, for example they will always include an onion and carrots and potatoes in addition to 2-3 more "main course" vegetables like Corn, Broccoli, or Beans.
The Basic bag includes Fruits and Vegetables and is designed to give you a nice variety of produce for a reasonable price.
The Deluxe bags include all of the items from the Basic Bags, with the addition of more "fancy" or "foodie" centric items like Brussels Sprouts, Leeks or Fennel, Ginger or Garlic Cloves.
The Local Farms Bag includes the Fruits and basic items from the basic bag, and then 4-5 different Locally Farmed vegetables including some Root Vegetables like Carrots, Beets or Turnips, Braising Greens like Kale or Collards, "main course" veggies like Squash, Broccoli, Tomatoes or Eggplant, and Local Shiitake or Oyster Mushrooms and Fruits like Apples, Peaches or Strawberries when in season.
All of the bags contents change weekly based on what is in season and looking good at the market. We try to change it up each week so that our customers get a wide variety of tasty produce and aren't getting the same thing week after week. It's a great way to keep your family stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, and a fun way to learn about new cooking techniques and ingredients!
WHERE DOES THE PRODUCE COME FROM?
For our Local Farms bags, we work with a network of small family farms in and around the Atlanta metro area. All of our bags include a supply of fruits and vegetables that are sourced from the Georgia State Farmer's Market from our wholesale vendors who are audited and certified in food safety and handling.
DO YOU HAVE AN ALL ORGANIC OPTION?
We do not have an all certified organic option at this time, however our Local Farm bags include at least 50-60% locally grown produce from small GA Farms that are either: Certified Organic, Certified Naturally Grown, or Naturally Grown using organic methods.
CAN I PICK WHAT GOES IN MY BAG?
Due to the changing nature of what goes in the bags each week, and our efforts to provide the best value with a varied offering weekly we do not have the ability to make custom pick bags, however if you have a food allergy or items you'd like left out we will always accommodate those requests. If you have any items you'd like to receive specifically, you can put in a request and we will do our best to make it happen but we cannot guarantee that all requests will be possible since it depends on what we have in the warehouse at that time. Requests for substitutions / allergies or specific items can be made in the "customer notes" section at checkout.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
For our same day delivery area (Intown Atlanta, Midtown and West Midtown, Decatur, Avondale Estates, and All East Atlanta Neighborhoods in the Northeast ITP section between Interstate 85 and 20: All orders placed by 1pm will be delivered by 7pm the same day Monday through Saturday. Orders received after 1pm will be delivered the next business day.
For the rest of our delivery area, orders received by 12am will be delivered the next day between 11am and 5pm.
WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY RANGE?
We deliver to the entire metro area inside the 285 perimeter, in addition to the following areas outside the perimeter. At this time we are not able to make deliveries outside of these areas, but if we can get enough interest in an area that is outside our normal routes, we can consider adding more locations. All OTP orders are delivered Next Day (order by 12am).
Northwest OTP: Marietta area south of GA Hwy 120 across East Cobb
Roswell / Sandy Springs OTP: Roswell area south of Holcomb Bridge Rd.
North OTP: Peachtree Corners and Norcross South of Jimmy Carter Blvd.
Northeast OTP: Stone Mountain and Tucker South of Mountain Industrial / Hariston Rd.
East Side OTP: Lithonia/ Stonecrest, Conyers, and Covington West of Hwy 142
HOW CAN I TIP MY DRIVER?
Our employees are paid a fair living wage, and are compensated for their time and fuel so tips are not required. However if you'd like to leave a little something extra cash works or you can use a payment app to tip them directly with the info on the thank you card in your order. Tips are not reported to BAG'd and are kept between you and your driver.
